What once served as a hotel, then a school, and later an abandoned building was ready for a complete transformation. The site had fallen into major disrepair, its exterior was cracked, faded, and heavily damaged. With a new vision to open San Diego County’s first legal cannabis bar, the owners of Sessions by the Bay needed the building to reflect the upscale, modern experience they were creating inside.
The exterior was in extremely poor condition, described by the client as looking like “someone dropped a bomb on it.” The building needed structural repair, lath work, and a full stucco overhaul that could hold up to commercial use while making a bold first impression.
Mo’s Stucco handled the full resurfacing of the building’s facade. We installed new lath, repaired damaged areas, and applied a smooth, professional-grade stucco finish that completely revitalized the structure. Every corner of the exterior was upgraded to reflect the energy and modernity of the business it now represents.
The building has been completely transformed, what was once rundown is now clean, modern, and full of curb appeal. Sessions by the Bay now welcomes guests with a fresh, professional exterior that matches the innovation happening inside.
